Suffer Club – Workout #47

It was Emily’s last day with us. She’s moving to Atlanta. So I planned a workout that didn’t require counting. That way folks could talk, while they suffered.

I called this one “Til Yer Tard,” which means whatever exercise you’re doing, you do it until you’re too tired to do more of it. I left the Sufferers to their own consciences on that. Those who wanted to go real hard, went real hard. Those who wanted to move briskly through the exercises, moved briskly. Some of us just phoned it in. You can’t give it your all every time, no matter what people say.

For this one, you need two dice. Every roll corresponds to an exercise below. I found the dice a bit cruel myself. I kept rolling abs, then abs, then abs, then abs. That’s ok. I’m sure I needed it.

Afterwards, we drank coffee and ate banana chocolate chip muffins that Caitlin made.

  • 7 – Leg Lifts
  • 8 – Break Dancers
  • 9 – Suspended Tucks
  • 10 – Stairs
  • 11 – Plank Shoulder Taps
  • 12 – 1/2 Mile Run
